Here are a few tips to make your Holidays safe.
1. Always be aware of your surroundings. thieves, robbers and rapists look for people who are rushing around with their minds preoccupied and not paying attention to what is happening around you. The bad guys have one work for such a person VICTIM!
2. Never leave gifts, or anything valuable visible in the front or back seat of your automobile. Thieves look for these things and will break a window to take them.
3. Do not leave any letters or newspapers with your address on them in your vehicle. This tells the thieves where you live and invites them over.
4. Never block your field of view with packages while walking to your car or house. If you have too many packages to carry, make more than one trip.
5. Be extremely careful of anyone offering to help you carry any packages to your car. Leaving the with the clerk and coming back for a second trip is better than someone stealing some of your gifts or using the help as a ploy to get to you or your automobile.
6. When in doubt refer back to rule number one. BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AT ALL TIMES!
Have a Happy and Safe Holiday Season.
